EMILY MOON RESTAURANT in Plettenberg Bay is definitely an extraordinary dining out experience. It is the combination of food, incredible décor of mystical African and Indian pieces, a romantic and warm ambience that makes Emily’s one of the most popular restaurants on the Garden Route booked by international guests long before they arrive. It is essential to book during the high season months but should not be missed if travelling along the Garden route.
Embracing the southern bank of the Bitou River, Emily Moon River Lodge is also an exclusive boutique Guest Lodge with accommodation for 18 guests. Each luxurious suite is a separate lodge for two people, with their own lounge area, private viewing decks, dressing rooms and spacious fully appointed bathroom. All have their own unique look with breathtaking views of the far distant valley, wetlands and winding waters of the Bitou. Nothing has been spared in creating a feeling of great luxury.
There is ‘The James Room Shop’ which offers unique gifts as well as beautiful pieces of Indian and African furniture, pictures in an assortment of exquisite frames – a selection not to be found anywhere else! It is a visual feast of exotic pieces !
We are the ideal setting for that special day in your life ‘your wedding’ and offer facilities for up to 80 guests as well as accommodation for the bridal party and out of town guests. We have canoes on the river, bicycles for that country ride and are close to superb beaches, golf courses and the bustling village of Plett.
